A historic institution of learning — nurturing generations of scholars, leaders, and change-makers through academic excellence and value-based education since 1843.
Established in 1843 by Rev. Robert Turlington Noble, Noble College is one of India's oldest educational institutions. Rev. Noble founded a native English school on 21 November 1843, which later evolved into the college and was famously termed "The Cambridge of South India." The college was closed in 1938 but revived in 1966 through efforts of Rt. Rev. Dr. N.D. Anandarao Samuel, with funds raised by legendary actor Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Today, it is an autonomous institution under the Church of South India, offering diverse UG and PG programmes.
