Established in 1997, Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering (MVGRCE) is a premier autonomous institution located in Chintalavalasa, Vizianagaram district, Andhra Pradesh . The college is named after its founder chairman, Dr. Pusapati Vijayarama Gajapati Raju, and is governed by the Mansas Educational Trust . It began as a private engineering college and has grown into a distinguished institution with a motto rooted in Vedantic wisdom: "Education is the Manifestation of the Perfection Already in Man" .
Spread across a sprawling 60-acre campus, the college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) and has been granted Autonomous status by UGC in 2015 . It holds permanent affiliation and is recognized under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act .
