About Birjhora Mahavidyalaya

Birjhora Mahavidyalaya, popularly known as Birjhora Science College, is a co-educational undergraduate institution specializing in science education. Located in Borpara, Bongaigaon, Assam, the college was established in 1986 by the Birjhora Mahavidyalaya Nirman Committee under the leadership of Sri P.B. Choudhury. The college was created to address the local need for higher education in science and transitioned to a government-aided status in 1990 before being fully provincialized in December 2005.
